What's New!
|
As I have said many times my website is evolving and expanding. Be sure to take the new self-assessment test. It takes just 3 minutes. The weblog, Journey On, is archived so back issues are available as are Letters On Life.
You asked for it! Group coaching is now available. It creates a different dynamic and energy.
BOOK RECOMMENDATION: Bel Canto by Ann Patchett. I just finished it and it's a beautiful and intriguing story that depicts love and beauty in the most trying of circumstances.
COACHING TIP: make time during the day for personal time by putting it on a calendar just like a business appointment.

Come From Love
I'm going to be bold and look at something that moves the world. It has been written about thousands of times and every year in February we celebrate a day that glorifies this spirit. Traditionally it is a time to demonstrate our love for another human being. On this day, in some way, we acknowledge our beloved.
But how do we do this and what if there is not this special person in our lives? Collectively we are and have been in many different phases of the relationship cycle. Some of us are not presently in a relationship, or are in a new relationship, and others are in long term relationships. But whatever phase of the cycle I was in I would sometimes feel an expectation or judgment to make the appropriate acknowledgement.
How would it be if this valentine's day, instead of feelings of expectation or judgment, we celebrate this day as an inspiration; an inspiration to open ourselves even more to love and loving, love of ourselves and others. And when we open ourselves to this energy love is all around us. Years ago when I was searching for love I wrote a poem about how when we look for love in another person things get pretty confusing, and when we come from love its all around us. Hope it speaks to you.
Why try to figure it out anymore
my anxious friend -
It's here one minute and gone the next.
Just like the wind.... breezing across your face
It's as if a dream has come true
and then suddenly
it shatters into reality
So -- What should you do?
What should you do?
Love is so sudden and quick
That you don't even have time to duck your head.
It hits you from all directions
And breaks every rule you ever made up
So put up your hands -
and surrender yourself -
To that loving feeling that moves you
Don't fight it.
Don't fight it.
But remember
it's just here for the moment
And there's no promise of tomorrow
Go love again and bring with you
Into your new affairs
the lessons of the past.
Just love everyday
and everyone,
and love will be.
Speaking of love, I love receiving your many responses and feedback. I will be curious about what reactions you get from people. Feel free to pass this letter on to the friends in your circle and let them know about the advantages of being on the journey.
Some of you have wanted to know about my other programs and services. In addition to one on one coaching a great way to make the lessons of these letters your natural way of being is through my Ecourses and Teleclasses. My website, like our lives, continues to expand and evolve. There is now an audio message and a self assessment to determine who is running your life. Have you had an opportunity to read my web blog, Journey On? I love writing it and hope you love reading it. I am expanding what is in this ezine and your suggestions are welcome.
Be well and talk to you soon,
Journey On

"Having you as my personal coach has helped me to focus my energy on myself and reach within to find the stillness, the calmness of my inner self. I have also learned the importance of being grateful for other joys in my life: my musical talents, great friends, my law practice, natural creativity and passion for living."
