Beyond Talk

What is Beyond Talk? Beyond talk is a dynamic and effective way for organizations to align themselves around common values and purposes. When personalities and attitudes stand in the way an organization cannot achieve its higher purpose. Often, what isn’t obvious to the members of the organization is obvious to someone else.

The Experience of Beyond Talk: The use of music and rhythm and the freedom that results enables the participants to express themselves in ways not normally experienced. Then brainstorming is taken to a new level. No longer do limiting beliefs and personalities inhibit the possibilities of the organization.

The Impact: The participants will be moved to let go and speak from their heart. When they do this, new ways of relating will occur. Once that happens, there is unity and strength that inspires the organization to see their true mission clearly and to formulate their mission statement.

How does this make a difference? Organizations experience new ways of communication and greater clarity so a process leading to greater harmony and unity has begun. One this has begun, the culture of the organization will be permanently changed. Follow-up is available to help keep alive the experience of the retreat.

As a coach and inspirational leader, Mark provides inspiration and motivation to many leaders around the world. His unique background as a successful trial attorney for thirty years and musician give him an insight into why some people are successful and others aren’t. It also gave him insight into what motivates people and what it takes to bring people together. He knows what it means to have the courage to have a big vision and what it takes to accomplish it. With this in mind, Beyond Talk was created so that the barriers to accomplishing this big vision can be overcome. He has facilitated groups in Marin County, California, Boulder, Colorado, and on the island of Kauai. He currently lives in Marin and sometimes on the island of Kauai with his wife and children.
