Finding Your Balance Point
Do you remember the last time you had the feeling you could do no wrong? Life was easy. People liked you, you liked you and your business was better than ever. You felt fulfilled. You felt good about life. But it didn't last. I'll bet you can have that feeling a lot more than you do now. There's a balance point that incorporates the necessary ingredients for you to have these experiences again. What did you do back then that you're not doing now? Have you really sat down and looked at what's different? Whatever it is, it can be reawakened in a series of explorations that involve looking at what worked in our lives and discovering that balance point for personal and financial success.
Discovering the balance point involves looking at what limiting attitudes and beliefs we have, what negative habits are holding us back and what positive changes we have been avoiding making. We each have a unique balancing point. I know there are challenges as I was an attorney for 30 years, a musician, father and husband. Material success cannot happen in a vacuum.
It is only when we feel fulfilled on all levels that we can feel good about ourselves as professionals. It's about the realization that in life our health, our attitudes and our ability to love contribute to the balance point when life is again effortless. It's all interrelated. Only when we feel good about who we are can we feel good about our careers. So when we say we're successful we mean we enjoy life and are excited about living. We're excited about our relationships and the work we do. The paradox is, that when we're in this state there's a greater likelihood of material success. The balance point is just the beginning.
