WHAT ARE YOU GRATEFUL FOR?

What’s on our mind? Yes, it’s that time of year. Next week is Thanksgiving. Some of you might think…wow…this year has gone fast. How do you feel about it? What are you grateful for?

Good health has to be at the top of the list. And of course feeling loved is right up there. Being prosperous is in my top three. And from this point on it varies from day to day.

I’m grateful for my playfulness….my ability to connect…my smile and my ability to laugh. When you focus on gratitude your life seems pretty good. I’m also grateful for good friends.

So here’s the challenge. In the morning before you talk on the phone, read the paper or leave the house, focus on 20 things you are grateful for. The first 10 might seem obvious. But it’s from that point on that makes the biggest difference. It forces you to think about qualities and characteristics about yourself that you like. It also slows you down and gets you thinking about things that seem little, but in the bigger context are quite significant.

Try it for about a week and see if you notice a difference.
