FIND YOUR OWN PATH:
I went with my wife Annie to the local coffee shop. I drank some coffee, read the paper and said my helloes. Everyone was in a good mood… thankful that they have the lives that they do. Sure, we would like some things to be different but grateful for the life we do have.
As we left the coffee shop we ran into some friends. Their daughter Hanna took a year off before beginning her college studies and for her it was the right thing. There is virtue in taking time out from your busy life. You get a different perspective and have time to reevaluate what it is you are doing. It’s easier to take the time out when you are younger. To do it when your life is more involved is more challenging but it is what you must do to continue to expand.
Ask yourself what you need a break from? Think of a way in which you can create separation from that activity or person. Then when you reengage you will have a new perspective.
