FOCUS AND THEN LET IT UNFOLD

When was the last time you felt like you were doing nothing? It seemed like you were just waiting for something to happen. You even felt like your life was slipping away. You had this need to do something.

Here’s a thought. Change how you see yourself when things seem to be a little slow. It is a great time to plant new ideas much like you plant seeds when you are growing a garden. It’s a great time to get together with friends and take care of things that ordinarily you don’t make time for. And in this phase perhaps you develop new habits that can benefit you when things get busy again. Perhaps read a new book or start a journal.

There is virtue in being patient and doing nothing. And in truth you are never doing nothing. So you see that doing nothing is in many cases really doing something which brings you further along on the journey you are taking…

So your shift is to see waiting as a positive action…And while you are waiting for the next step you can still use this time wisely… You can be doing nothing while in the company of good friends. Not a bad idea.

The cycle is to take action…then sit back and let it unfold…and so on it goes. It’s like planting your garden…Initially there’ s a lot of work.. weeding and then preparing the soil for planting…In the beginning there is a good amount of work. And as time goes on we just wait for our harvest to come to fruition. Realize that the universe has its own rhythm. It’s up to us to be in harmony with that rhythm.
