IT’S NEVER TOO LATE
IT’S NEVER TOO LATE: Sometimes I think if I only kept at it. It could be any one of several things. If I kept at the Clarinet or Saxophone…If I kept playing tennis and I could go on and I am sure you can too. Welcome back. It’s not too late. Perhaps you have to cover some old ground and repeat some of the lessons over but so be it. It won’t take you too long to get back into the groove and then you go to the next level. I got out of the habit and forgot why I did it in the first place. So the question is how do you get back in the groove.
You just do it and develop a new habit. How long does it take to develop new habits? According to experts at least 30 days of repeating the same habit or thought to make it a new pattern. Usually we are impatient and don’t give it a chance or when we get off the wagon like I did, we develop the belief that it’s too late and that you can’t go back.
It’s never too late to try what we use to do in a new way. What are your beliefs that limit your ability to give it another whirl? What is in the way of your recommitting? Take the first step and then the second and with each new step you build some momentum.
