I DON’T THINK WE ARE COMMUNICATING

Has anyone said to you…we’re not communicating..Or should I ask…when was the last time someone said that…When we say we aren’t communicating we usually mean that we are not in agreement…or that we have a difference of opinion about how something should be done.

Communication is much deeper and broader than just agreeing. It involves tuning into the other person. As this occurs we learn to sense what is going on with the other person and better able to develop our nonverbal communication skills. We notice body language, facial expressions and the energy we feel when we are in the presence of certain people.

Being an effective communicator is a desire most of us have. It’s having the ability to make a connection with another. It’s the ability to touch another’s soul and to feel like you know who they are. We’ll followup with this topic in future blogs.
